Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy
It is the Seller's responsibility to ensure that their listed items comply with all applicable laws and are permitted for sale in accordance with Jompilih’s terms and policies. Before listing an item, Sellers should review the following non-exhaustive guidelines on prohibited and restricted items. Jompilih may update this list as necessary, so please check this page regularly for any changes.
Violation of Terms of Service
Any violation of this Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy may result in various actions against the Seller, including but not limited to:
- Removal of the listing
- Restrictions on account privileges
- Account suspension or termination
- Legal actions
List of Prohibited and Restricted Items
The following is a non-exhaustive list of items that are prohibited or restricted for sale on Jompilih:
1. Alcohol
2. Credit and debit cards;
3. Used cosmetics;
4. Telecommunication equipment not registered with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and electronic surveillance devices;
5. Artifacts and antiquities;
6. Currency or credits, including digital currencies and stored value cards;

8. Counterfeit currency and stamps;
9. Unregistered or illegal pesticides;
10. Firearms, weapons (including pepper spray and stun guns), and imitations of weapons;
11. Animal and wildlife products, including wild animals;
12. Prohibited food items, including:
- Items with medicinal claims (e.g., misbranded dietary supplements, pharmaceutical drugs);
- Unpasteurized dairy products;
- Hazardous food items;
- Wild mushrooms;
- Noxious or adulterated food items.
13. All other food items must meet the following requirements:
- Clearly labeled expiration or "use by" dates;
- Sellers of perishable items must specify packaging methods to ensure product quality;
- Proper packaging or sealed containers.
14. Items related to royalty or government entities, including uniforms, badges, and official seals.
15. Slot machines;
16. Lock-picking devices;
17. Services, unless explicitly permitted by Jompilih, including illegal or inappropriate services;
18. Embargoed goods;
19. Items potentially infringing on copyrights or trademarks;
20. Lottery tickets;
21. Human parts or remains;
22. Recalled items;
23. Stolen goods;
24. Tobacco products, including vapes and accessories;
25. Used undergarments;
26. Obscene or adult materials, including:
- Sex toys and dolls;
- Items depicting sexual acts or positions;
- Explicit images of private body parts;
- Pornography, including child pornography;
- Sadism & Masochism (S&M) devices;
- Products that display the contour of genitals;
- Adult services (e.g., escort services).
27. Items related to political campaigns, violence, or public debate that promote hate or rebellion.
28. Publications, books, films, videos, and video games that do not comply with local laws.
29. Shares, stock, securities, and stamps;
30. Mislabelled goods;
31. Offensive, controversial, seditious, or treasonous materials;
32. Any items that are illegal or restricted in the Buyer or Seller's jurisdiction, or pose health or safety risks;
33. Tickets or vouchers for events, concerts, or performances, including resales.
Reporting Policy Violations
If you come across a listing that violates our policies, please report it using the "Report Abuse" option on the product page. If a listing is removed due to a policy violation, both the Seller and the Buyer will be notified via email, system message, or push notification.
